Redhawks hockey looking to bounce back this upcoming season

After a tough 2021-2022 season the Montclair State Ice hockey team is confident that this next season for will be much better for them as a team.

In 21 games played the Redhawks finished with a record of 3 wins and 18 losses. Not much went as planned last year for Montclair State Ice Hockey whether it was dealing with multiple injured players, penalty troubles, or scoring droughts, they look to come back this 2022-2023 season much stronger and a more competitive team.

“...last season might have been the worst of our hockey career as a whole. Next season is going to be our last year for more than 12 guys and we all know what we have to do."-(C) Mike Miller
"We have been working hard in the off season and can't wait to get back on the ice in August.....Im Back"- (C) Ryan Martinez

The Redhawks will still have the same great staff and leadership going into the next season.

What I Noticed...

The Montclair State Ice Hockey team is a dedicated group that continued to show up and go to work even during frustrating times when things weren't going their way. Captain and star player Shawn Meneghin was one player that graduated from the team but there is some young new talent coming in that should be exciting as players Ryan Gorman, Anthony Vella, Greg Oliveri, Lucas Longo, Antonio Crispino all announced their commitments to Montclair State Ice Hockey. With the will and determination of 12 final year players and the addition of this new young talent I would watch out for Montclair State Ice Hockey this next season.
